Review: First off, this story could have been great. To many typos.😤😢 Tia was a little weak and Burke was a few degrees short of crazy. She went from one stranger to the next. The first almost got her dumb self raped and killed. The 2nd wasn't bad, but she just went with it. Fool u don't know those people and they could have killed her too. 3rd, u jump in someone's car and demand they take off. Then u stay with this (again stranger) u don't know crap about. I get you r scared but did u not learn "stranger danger" in elementary school in that backwater town. And what kind of power does he have where homeland security is always available to him, really. Who does that, I must have missed the part about him being the president. We never get to see his POV, so we don't know what he feels. I kinda figured out he was setting her up. You disappear for weeks, don't check on the person helping u and all of a suden> BAMM, you wanna have sex. She described him looking nasty and they had sex. Come on now.....Overall, I liked the story she was just weak at some points and let him dominate her. I believe in love at first sight, but i am SMH. The ending was crazy, since it never said if they were together or not. She just gave in to his nonsense he was spewing and he still can't commit until the lawyer/PI finds his dead wife killer......bye Felicia!

Review: Although the I've read multiple books with this storyline, this was one of my favorites. It is in need of some serious editing though. Their are spelling and grammatical errors galore. One example is when Tia says to Burke, "You'd met your much." Edit the book and make it better.

Review: Heart rendering story that keeps the reader turning pages. Burke is a widower who has not been able to let go of the past. He is a arrogant jackass who almost looses a wonderful person by refusing to let go of the past and embrace a new life of happiness with Tia. Tia is a wonderful caring young lady who falls for Burke and she almost looses herself behind her love for a man who is afraid to let go of the past. What I like about the story is how Tia's behavior is a ray of sunshine for those she comes into contact with. What I didn't like about the story is how Burke manipulates Tia into getting pregnant. The story has a lot of different emotions in it, there's a lot of chemistry between Burke and Tia , but Burke doesn't give enough of himself to Tia. The ending could have been better, it's lacking true closure for both Burke and Tia's relationship. Are they getting married? Will the relationship h hang in limbo until Burke's first wife's murderer is found and brought to justice?

Review: Okay...... so where do I start.
This has potential. But I think it fell flat. The novel is entirely from Tia's perspective (not first person) and we get to see her emotions and her perception of Burke 's. Because Burke played such an important role, it would have been better to see inside his feelings.
The coincidental meetings of people in such a large city as New York was a bit much. At times the writing seemed a bit juvenile.
The sorry about how Burke 's wife died was sad a dramatic all at once.
All in all it was a good read before bed.

Title: Good storyline but...

Review: There were a lot of typos, but the storyline was great. Some sentences mixed tenses. I liked how the author brought the couple together through twists and turns. The background of the characters were well covered.
