Review: I read any Rimmer book that’s out there, but I hesitated about this one. I thought it might be too sappy. Boy am I glad I read it. Cal and Lilah teach me to grab the day-to-day blessings and not live for the past or the future. Especially as a senior adult, I recognize the uncertainty of tomorrow. Rimmer again sends me to Google to find out more information about her subject because she always makes me want to know more.

Review: A story about two professional people who can't be more different from each other from her being vegetarian and him not, to Lilian walking barefoot as much as possible to him keeping his chest waxed and hair trimmed regularly.
Callum is cynical on relationships and Lilian flat doesn't want one but yet they can't stay away from each other until the day out of the blue Lilah leaves after Callum and her had been getting along so well.
Throughout Lilah's journal's entry's will refer to something she is afraid is coming back. A reason she knows she cannot allow things to get serious between the two of them but does not share with Callum.
After the break up her mom calls after a small period of time and tells him Lilah needs him and if he loves her he has to be prepared for her sickness.
It is at this time finally we find out that Lilah has Huntington Disease and that is why she tried keeping their relationship simple then ended was so he wouldn't have to go through it with her.
The book was a very good read even though it had a sad ending it also had many good things happen at the end due to the love the couple had for each other and some steps Lilah arranged prior to her death and Callum followed through with plus built onto.
Again, well worth your time to read.

Review: I came upon this book by an odd quirk of fate, so to speak. It was one of many recommendations from Amazon I receive on a daily basis. The title intrigued me because I recently lost a very dear companion whose loss has had a profound impact on my life as it exists today. I'm sure that what happened in the novel and what happens in real life occurs thousands of times within every single day to individuals throughout the world.The story certainly did not mirror what happened in my life nor did I expect it to but, while reading the book I was looking for quite possibly a solution or solace that might help me deal with a loss and perhaps others as well. What struck me the most about the novel was the interaction between the main characters and how they approached the ultimate solutions, if you want to call it that. I even went so far as to look up HD, as explained in the book and think the author did a service to those fighting this disease. The author should be commended for picking a title that would make anyone who had lost a loved one to read the novel from start to finish. Four stars for sure.

Review: As romance stories go, it was well written. The characters were hard to relate too and definitely "overdone" . I am always surprised that there are no barriers financially or otherwise in the story and the background for the romance is ""perfect" . On a positive note, I did learn much about Huntington Disease.

Review: Such a soul gripping, heart wrenching, sweet, and loving romance. Lilah and Callum...Sigh...The author created an amazing novel. You will laugh, get angry, and cry reading this. Then when it's all over you will reflect on the novel and feel all those emotions all over again. The chemistry between Lilah and Callum was remarkable. The dialogue between the characters was very well written and ran smoothly. Their personalities and differences are so opposite you would never think there's any way those two could ever manage to be in the same room without strangling each other but at last opposites do attract. Novels that touches the heart and makes yours break just by reading it is some of the best. It takes a great author to be able to bring forth such strong emotions in a reader. Koodles to the wonderful job Ms. Rimmer created with this novel. I would highly recommend this as a MUST read. Just make sure you have tissue handy, get ready to laugh, have your heart soar with love, then shattered, and hopefully in the end find some solace.
